📘 Estimates

Chronos lets you add estimates to any Trello card so you can plan work more accurately and compare expected time with actual tracked time.

An estimate is the amount of time you expect the task on the card to take.

🕹️ How to Add an Estimate

1. Open the Trello card
2. Find the Estimate field added by Chronos
3. Enter how much time the task should take
4. Save — it appears on the card immediately

You can update or remove the estimate at any moment.

Supported Formats

Chronos accepts flexible input, such as:

• 1h
• 30m
• 1h 45m
• 2 hours
• 90m

🔍 Estimated vs Actual Time

After you start tracking:

• Chronos records actual time as worklogs
• You can compare it with the estimate
• The difference shows whether the task was:
  • Underestimated
  • Overestimated
  • On target
