Chronos offers flexible pricing plans to fit teams of all sizes. All plans include unlimited boards within your workspace, and you can purchase Chronos seats regardless of how many members are in your Trello workspace.

🎁 Trial Plan​

The Trial plan gives you full access to Chronos features with unlimited team members for 14 days.

Features​

  • Unlimited members: All workspace members can use Chronos during the trial period
  • Full feature access: All time tracking, reporting, and management features are available
  • Unlimited boards: Track time across all boards in your workspace
  • No credit card required: Start your trial without providing payment information

Trial Period​

The trial period lasts 14 days and allows you to evaluate Chronos with your entire team before committing to a paid plan. When the trial expires, you can choose to upgrade to a Team plan or continue with the Free plan.

Note: Unused trial days may be counted toward your first paid license when you upgrade, depending on the license period you select.

🆓 Free Plan​

The Free plan provides basic time tracking functionality for individual users.

Features​

  • 1 workspace member: Only the workspace administrator can use Chronos
  • Unlimited boards: Track time across all boards in your workspace
  • Full time tracking: All core time tracking features are available
  • Reports and analytics: Access to all reporting features
  • No expiration: The free plan doesn't expire

Limitations​

  • Only the workspace administrator account has a seat
  • Other team members cannot track time or access Chronos features
  • The seat is permanently attached to the workspace administrator account
  • Invoice PDFs can be previewed but not downloaded — downloading requires a Trial or Team plan

👥 Team Plan​

The Team plan is designed for teams that need multiple members to track time, manage reports, observe work, and moderate. You purchase seats for the number of team members who need access to Chronos.

Pricing​

Per Member Per Month:

  • 5 EUR per member per month (European customers)
  • 6 USD per member per month (US customers)

Volume Discounts:

  • 3 months: Standard pricing (no discount)
  • 6 months: 10% discount on total cost
  • 12 months: 20% discount on total cost

Features​

  • Flexible member count: Purchase 1-200 seats
  • Unlimited boards: Track time across all boards in your workspace
  • Full feature access: All time tracking, reporting, and management features
  • Seat management: Activate and deactivate member seats as needed
  • License extension: Extend your license before expiration (unused days are counted)

Seat Management​

  • Seats are valid only within your Trello workspace
  • You can activate up to the number of seats you've purchased
  • Deactivating a member frees up a seat for another team member
  • Seats can be reassigned as team composition changes

Billing Options​

Important: Chronos does not use automatic subscription payments. All license purchases and extensions must be done manually.

Purchase License: Buy a new license or additional seats for your team.

Extend License: Manually extend your current license before it expires. When extending:

  • Unused days from your current period are automatically counted
  • You can change the number of members and license duration
  • The extension starts from your current expiration date (or immediately if expired)
  • You must complete the payment process each time you extend

VAT and Taxes​

  • EU customers: % VAT applies unless you provide a valid VAT number for reverse charge
  • US customers: No VAT
  • Other countries: VAT may apply depending on your location

Understanding Your License​

Seat Scope​

  • Workspace-based: Seats are valid only within your Trello workspace
  • Board coverage: Unlimited boards are supported within the workspace
  • Member flexibility: You can purchase Chronos seats regardless of how many members are in your Trello workspace

License Periods​

Choose from flexible billing periods:

  • 3 months: Standard 3-month license
  • 6 months: 6-month license with 10% discount
  • 12 months: 12-month license with 20% discount
  • Ongoing period extension: Extend your current license without changing the end date (if available)

License Extension Benefits​

When you manually extend your license before it expires:

  • Unused days discount: Unused days from your current period are calculated and deducted from the new license cost
  • Seamless transition: Your license continues without interruption
  • Flexibility: You can adjust the number of members and duration when extending
  • No automatic charges: You control when and how you extend your license—no automatic renewals or payments

Frequently Asked Questions​

Can I change the number of members after purchasing?​

Yes! You can manually extend your license at any time to add or remove members. When extending, you can adjust the member count, and unused days from your current license will be counted toward the new license. Remember, all extensions must be done manually—there are no automatic renewals.

What happens if I don't use all my seats?​

Unused seats remain available for activation. You can activate team members as needed, and seats can be reassigned by deactivating one member and activating another.

Can I get a refund?​

Refund policies may vary. Contact support for information about refunds for your specific situation.

Do I need a seat for every Trello workspace member?​

No. You only need to purchase seats for team members who will actively use Chronos. You can have many Trello workspace members but only provide seats to those who need time tracking access.

What happens when my license expires?​

When your license expires, your workspace plan will automatically shift to the free plan. All previous members who had seats will enter a 30-day read-only mode, which allows them to:

  • View their existing worklogs
  • Access reports and historical data
  • Not create new worklogs or track new time

Can I use Chronos on multiple Trello workspaces?​

Each Trello workspace requires its own license. If you use multiple workspaces, you'll need to purchase seats for each workspace separately.

Are there any hidden fees?​

No. The pricing is straightforward: you pay per member per month based on the billing period you choose. The only additional cost is VAT for EU customers (unless you have a valid VAT number).
